Whats the deal with this new "Fitment" fad on call cars, aside from VW?

I like a lip, and a semi-low offset, myself. IMO, however, some of these cars, look fine, until you see the wheels. A lot of them, with they're horrible camber, and "perfect" fitment, looks like garbage.

What is everybody else's thoughts?

EDIT: This is a post on car styling, not just wheels and tires.

I looked for the other thread. I couldn't find it, so I dropped the thought.

I do like a nice tight fit. The horrible camber aspect of it all is completely stupid. IMO

If I keep my integra, I do plan on running a low-ish offset, but nothing as horrible as half the shit I keep seeing on the site.

Everything that everybody deems to be "perfect fitment"

If fitment is key, jesus christ, buy new locks lol

I like to see good fitment with the correct size tire, none of the stretch bullshit. I want to roll my fenders to accommodate some big meaty tires.

i can definitely handle some good size tires. i really hate the stretching and completely pointless camber.

http://www.importatlanta.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=194830&stc=1&d=1246736127this one would look good, if it was just a little higher offset. just barely inside the fenders, looks good. still to much camber in the front for my liking

idk, i just can't seem to fathom having my car like that. i dont care for the look, and im sure it rides like garbage, i would assume anyways.

if i keep my car i'm going to get a set of 3" bakspaced diamond racing wheels probably just 15x8 with 8'' tires. if i have to stretch, i'm going with just a 7.5'' if i can.
