I just wanted to give scottie at mainstream props not for the 231 horse power and 172 foot pounds of tourqe he tunned out of the car or the 12.7 at 107 spinning i ran but for the 34.5 miles to the gallon its getting thanks . I was also wondering what kind of gas mileage everybody else was getting with there all motor setups which is why i posted this in the all motor section.

you should post up the jig he made to work the heads...i thought that was pretty cool.

and thanks for the props...glad it's working well for you guys...34mpg is more than i thought you would've gotten. that's cool.

i get between 33mpg and 42mpg on my boosted sohc depending on how i'm driving.

I'm always concerned about how many MPG I get or can get. Mine is a 174 WHP LS/VTEC setup with 310cc injectors, 255 Walbro etc.

When I had a B16 tranny I only managed to get an avg of 25 MPG per tank. Ever since I've had an LS I get 30 MPG per tank. About 10 gallons of fuel I put in & I really don't ever see over 300 miles on it.

I don't VTEC it much either. (Scotty tuned)

My 170hp :ninja: non-vtec build tuned by Scotty. I have a 11.9 gallon tank, and I go about 320 miles per tank. I could squeeze out a few miles, but I don't enjoy running out of gas - and EFs don't exactly have a low-fuel light.

i never get less than 300 miles to the tank and have gotten as much as just over 400+.

Oh - and w/ the stock LS and stock computer, I got around 296 - 300 miles per tank. So even on a performance-oriented tuned Scotty does the part throttle/driveabilty tuning a hard look. + 20

We get about the same gas mileage then homes. I'd probably get 350 miles if I ran it until the car stopped. What tranny are you on?

I'm on an LS tranny for now - but I got something proper lined up (B16 / LSD).

When i said 34.5 miles to the gallon thats my dad driving and not getting on it at all. The whole reason i like hondas and vtec is for gas mileage thats why i was wondering what everybody got . My dad has a chevy 2500 he drives everyday gets about 10 miles to the gallon so he asked me to build him a mid 13 second car that gets 30 miles to the gallon so i did with a stock f20b. Then i got to thinking my accord is way to heavy to race so why not give him my built motor and just put the f20b in the accord so i did . We did a few more things to the built h22 before putting it in the hatch but the out come has been good fast as hell still great gas mileage thats what i like.
