Tennesee plays Western Ky...Auburn plays Lousiana Tech...Florida plays Charlston Central...LSU plays Washington...
UGA plays OK State...WTF?!??! Not excited about that at all.

ummm, bama has va tech away too.
playing a big gun first isnt a disadvantage. You win-you gain national spotlight before everyone else. You lose-you have more time than other to impress voters.

Bama isn't playing VTech away, They are playing at the dome. Bama has the advantage in that instance, I just don't like having to fight for the season right out of the gate...I like being able to ease into it. lol

I am a huge South Carolina fan. Our offense was terrible last night. But at least we had flashes of running the ball, something we've never had haha. Our D looked awesome though, something i was very worried about going into the season since the D is so young.

Yeah not pleased about that, tomorrow is gonna be a rough game. I am heading to Athens to drink in celebration or drink my sorrows away. Either way I will be going out downtown to get fucked up after the game. Oh and the Oregon player going Kimbo Slice on the Boise State guy made my night!

I would be crying into my beer after the offensive showcase from SC last night. Their only points came as a result of a NC Dt. fumble that was recovered inside the 10.
As far as the defense is conserned. I will say the jury is still out and nothing better. NC St. could have very easily won that game if they didnt get in their own way on every decent play they had.

^^ damn so bleak.. i couldn't draw a single thing we did write in your analysis lol. Don't scare me like that. With Ellis Johnson commanding a young but extremely fast and talented young defense i think we just looked that good on D. Remember Wilson (NC State's QB who won QB of the Year in the ACC last year as a freshman, and just set the ACC record for most passes thrown without an interception) was totally dominated the whole game. Last year we had the best defense in the country tied with Southern Cal for 3/4 of the season until they finally wore down from our terrible offense.
But we have a lot of real young talent on the Offensive side as well, just have to develop it. I think you'll see more of what i'm talking about when we face UGA next week, that is ALWAYS a close game no matter what.

GT will prove themselves this year with a much better record.
UGA will get stomped a few times this year, including the final game of the season.
Va Tech is def not the home team against bama...alabama is much closer to the dome, ga has a large number of tide fans, and all of atlanta (tech fans anyway) want to see va tech get their teeth kicked in because they do NOT deserve a number 7 ranking and all of the analysts picking them to win the ACC.
Ga tech will win 10 games this season, and win the acc championship.

Im saying the jury is out and gave my reasoning. NC. St had 2 TD's dropped by WR's. I'mm not saying the SC defense didnt look good, I am saying look at the teamm they looked good against.

yea i know, but i have to be somewhat optimistic. Its a long season lol.
Sure our offense looked anemic after our first touchdown, but i'm not ready to throw in the towel on them. I'm just glad we won, because in reality i know its going to be a very long season if we don't get much better very quickly. We have the hardest schedule in the country.

Wow did the Georgia coaches even show up for the game? There was absolutely no intensity from them even down by 2 scores in the 4th. WTF? How do you get your players fired up if they see you walkin around with your hands in your pockets? What was with the offensive play calling? The defense played pretty well but those two turnovers really cost the dawgs the game. I expected more but then again with all the times I've been dissappointed I guess I shouldn't have. I'll be surprised if Georgia wins 8 games this year after seeing what we have to look forward to. Go Dawgs!, I guess.

We have the hardest schedule in the country.
Have you looked at the SC schedule? 2 elite teams, no one else is going to really scare anyone. If I had to guess I would say SOS is somewhere in the high 60's by the end of the season. After Florida and Bama, no one on your schedule has less than 4 losses.

Yes that would be the toughest schedule in the country...
We play AT UGA, Bama, Tennessee
Have to play Ole Miss and Florida at home (both in the top 10)
Also Kentucky and Arkansas are no pushovers. Kentucky should have beat UGA last year and Arkansas did beat LSU)

Phil Steele is an idiot. SC's schedule is FAR easier than OU, OK St. or even BYU. This idiot even says that FSU has a non-conference game against Miami.
Here is another SOS list that has their SOS at#20.

I would agree that it is going to be extremely rough for SC, but thats just because they are a below average team. Any ranked team should be able to go 9-3 or 10-2 with their schedule.

UGA still did nothing to win that game and OK St was already up by a TD. I agree one of the worst calls of the week, but at least it didnt decide a game.

i'll just be happy if we win 8 games with that schedule. Garcia better start playing like a man possessed, or at least play at the level everyone thought he was going to play at out of high school. If not we probably won't have a shot even at a bowl game. With our plethora of young RBs and WRs and a good O-Line he should be able to play better than he showed against NC State.
It'll be interesting to see how UGA bounces back against us, considering they were saying Cox wasn't 100% with flu like symptoms. I'd cry for joy if we won 9 or 10 games though.

Gators won big, no surprise. Had a good time at the game.
UGA lost, as I expected them to lol.
Tennessee won big, which I'm happy about because now they think they're hot shit and will be in a big reality check two weeks from now.
Chokelahoma lost... lol nothing else needs to be said there.
And not nearly as worried about LSU after their showing, props to Washington for almost pulling it off.

All the teams that played cupcakes show nothing. I put about as much stock in tose games as I do spring scrimmages.

They were only down by 7 and had that drive stopped except the refs gave them that "illegal" hit. While I admit, they played like shit, they were very much in the game until that call.

I agree they were in the game still, but that doesnt mean they had anyone beat. Even if that drive stopped there, UGA showed absolutely no offense so I have to believe they wouldnt have put points on the board if they get the ball back then anyways.

That's the point of cupcake games. It's a good way to get everyone some playing time and get back in the feel of things. The Gators next game will be a blowout, too. And so will the one after that against the 'Vols :D
UGA had shit for offense, they were NEVER in that game, regardless of the score. OkState's offense can light it up and everyone knows that, it was only a matter of time until the started putting points on the board. All you 'Dawgs fans better get used to yet another sub-par season, but don't worry, we'll take care of the East for y'all

After what I saw this weekend Florida should be favored by at least 20 every game except the CCG against Bama. There is also a real chance that the computers will put their #1 ranking in jeopardy. All of their OOC opponents lost this weekend.
