If I lost my registration template (a piece of paper), which I need to release my recovered car from a towing company, where do I go? Do I need to go to DMV? or do I go to local Tag Office to get a copy of my registration?

Tag office. Im sure they can give you another copy of your registration. DMV has nothing for you in this instance, they only deal with your license.
