View Full Version : Misc Needs a Good Home

Most of you know that James and I adopted a puppy about a month ago. Well, I'm having to put my house up for sale and am moving into an apartment and won't be able to keep her. Plus, with me work 10-12 hour days, it isn't fair to keep her in a cage all day by herself. She deserves better. Her name is Layla Precious.

She is a very sweet puppy and loves to give kisses. She is a typical puppy in that she like to run around and loves chew toys. She pretty much knows her name and will answer to it most of the time. The house breaking is coming along pretty well, especially over the last few days. She will go to the door when she needs to potty or use a puppy pad.

Layla is about 20lbs right now. I don't know how big she will get. She is a black lab mix. Very playful and loving - also snores sometimes. ;)

I have attached pictures from where we first got here- she is bigger than this now, and I will try to get newer pics posted up soon.

If you are interested, PM me and I will give you all the information. I am going to give the crate, chew toys, collars, leashes, runners, etc. with her.

It breaks my heart to give her up, but I have to do what is best for my little girl.

thats ok. i just want someone that can love her that can take her. this is killing me having to give her up, but i can't take care of her alone. even right now i want to cry having to do it.

she is a puppy - puppies chew and she is in the process of being potty trained and she is doing really well.

Kristi, I haven't laughed that hard in some time. Great response. The puppy is so cute, sorry you have to give her up, but it's for the best I'm sure.

yea- i cant be home with her as much as she needs with work and everything. but giving her up will be one of the hardest things i will ever have to do or have done

well, it looks like the lady that was going to take her isn't going to anymore. she isn't returning my calls.

so layla is still up for adoption if anyone would like her. i will do my best to get some pics taken soon as those are a little old now and she is much bigger.

aw man that sucks.. my mom just gave our rottie that we rescued to my aunts friend, kinda shitty if you ask me. But w/ a new kid in the house he would get nervous and overprotective, wish I had room for him in my shack. :(

Well the lady just called me and says she is coming to get Layla afterall this weekend.

I am having to get rid of my house because it is too much to handle. I don't have the time to keep it up and I don't want to anymore. I just want an apartment that is smaller, no yard, etc. for now. Also, with the money I make from the house, I want to pay off all my debt - I have accrued a lot of debt in the past 1.5 years. So....I just want a change - a new place, new car, new life. I want to take Layla along - but right now, I can't take care of her. She is going to be a big dog and loves to run and play - and she can't do that in an apartment.

I agree. I'm changing everything up and I'm loving it! I will have a new home, new car, new job and everything hopefully by the end of the year. :D I'm just going to miss my pup-a-lup
