Not really sure what you're getting at, but Vteckkid has been doing almost all of the callouts recently.

Being a pussy is asking someone to run you from a dig, but telling them they HAVE to be on crappy tires. I don't care how much HP they're making, traction is 90% of a race from a dig. Smacked could probably add 100 more hp and still get his ass handed to him from a dig if he went out in those crappy ass street tires he uses.

The flip side of this, is there are SEVERAL people out there with built Hondas that KNOW they are faster than the majority of cars on the road. They purposely seek out cars with bigger motors that aren't setup to race from a dig and/or are stock or only lightly modded, just so they CAN rub it in their face that a "lil 'ol Honda" drug that ass, or whatever.

Believe me I know. I have lost to a couple Hondas before that told me the same shit. I lost. One was pretty bad, but at the end if it's not the end of your "car racing" career. Doesn't matter if he's making 1400 horsepower, if he's just gonna spin then ANYONE can beat him. Smacked has made it perfectly clear that he wants to work on getting his car faster at a TRACK. So he has cheapo street tires he uses to drive to work....by the way, have you seen his street tires? Unlike most people, who use a "middle ground" tire or drag radial to drive around in 100% of the time, so they can get decent traction while still being very capable of driving around on the street daily.

Again, I ask....have you seen his street tires? Most Mustangs (that I know) drive on drag radials. They are street tires, but are also pretty damn sticky and hook well. Then you have someone like me, who drives on actual all season street tires. However, mine are very expensive because they are designed for high performance, in addition to handling everyday street driving. Smacked likes to race from a dig...therefore he has slicks to race from a dig. When not racing, he uses VERY CRAPPY hard street tires. I'm talking, tires that will probably last 50,000 miles.

I would do the same thing if I were in his position. There's no sense in spending lots of money on performance tires when they are NOT the tires you use when racing. It's WAY cheaper to get some crappy tires that you never have to replace.

It's mathematics. No matter how much horsepower your ENGINE makes, it's all limited to how much your CAR can put to the ground. If those tires can only handle 300hp before breaking loose, then racing from a dig is no different than racing a 300hp car that weighs close to twice as much.

A stock LS1 Camaro SS had about 280whp stock, weighed over 3400lbs, and ran mid 13's@105mph on average. That's from the magazines, bone stock, on the stock tires.

With DR's and 200whp you should be able to hit high 12's without a problem, and trap close to 110mph.

I was there that night and and saw mike run for myself. If it tells you anything, he didn't show up with a helmet and never got booted from the track after any of his runs.
