i was riding wit my dad and just casually looked at the piece of paper receipt shops give you after they work on your car. so this paper was from the penzoil shop and they did a recent oil change on my dads 03 accord...now hes got like 140k some miles...

i was a bit surprised to see they put 5w30 in his car..isnt that a bit light for the car with 140k miles??
is that weird?

nah its fine,i used to put 5w30 in my 305 with 150k miles,lol...

nope not at all 5w30 is normal. if we was in a different climate, elevation, blah blah it might be different.

i remeber when i worked in a oil change place we used 5w20 in newer honda accords it said it on the cap i thought that was strange.
