so im sitting here, watching waynes world on fuse, thinking to myself what the top 3 most memorable movies of my youth were and why....

1.waynes world, funniest shit i had ever seen and i was a snl junkie growing up....not to mention mike meyers and dana carvey are comic genius'

2.national lampoons vacation trilogy....i love chevy chase, again with the snl thing, all 3 movies were just riddled with hilarious shit....these movies were a staple of my summer vacation every year, my cousin, who is 31 and myself, 27 still to this day can whip out any one of the 3 and watch it without getting up

3. dazed and confused, rented this movie the summer the aforementioned cousin came and stayed the entire summer with me....i thought it was a stupid movie when we went to rent it, but it is also riddled with hilarious stuff....matthew mcconaughey was classic in it

so whats your top 3?

Witchboard (1986) Scared the shit out of me because I just had my first encounter with a "real" ghost.

Diehard (1988)... do I really need to explain?

Casablanca (1942) because true pimps never go out of style

Childhood or Teenage life lol BIG DIFFERENCE.

CHILDHOOD
1) Return of the Jedi- I think i saw it when i was 8 or 9, the Rancor monster was my hero. My parents thought i was going to be scared of it, but i remember seeing it over and over again as a child.

2) GI Joe Animated Movie- I just remember seeing it in movie theaters and thinking it was the coolest thing ever.

3) TMNT- I watched the cartoon religiously, and when the live action movie came out, i was first in line, with my mommy, to see it.

Teenage Years
1) Terminator 2- My mother forbid me to see it at 13 years old, but my dad snuck me in to see it, it changed my life lol

2) Dazed and COnfused- Ill agree with that, i actually watched it on bluray the other day, just an all around great movie that i think is one of the best i have ever seen

3) Goodfellas- Still my in my all time top 3 movies

Secret of Nihm

Transformers, The Movie

Legend

Dragon Slayer

An American Tale

The Sword in the Stone

Clash of the Titans

Sinbad

Some are older than me and some aren't. These were from before I really made any of my own decisions so most were provided by my parents. Still like them all in a way.
