Update 9/12/09:
The police is looking for 2 thieves ....a black and a white. Apparently they were caught stripping the car by a good samaritan. Thank you good samaritan.

I'm pretty sure those thieves are $##@ing scared @ss f*&^ RIGHT NOW! If you're reading this you'd better bend over...and put your head in your @ss so when the cops coming knocking on your door....they wont recognize you.
They must've ran from the scene.....gwinnett PD has all their stuff. Engine lift and their tool box....all their tools. Looks like they wont be stealing again. GPD is running fingerprints on all the tools and the hoist that they recovered at the scene. GPD wouldn't tell us much...but the officer in charge of the case sounds pretty confident.
Exact location where the car was found: Stanley RD along the big power lines. Major intersection is hwy 316 and winder hwy.
Luckily...car was found 3-4 hrs after the initial call was made to GPD.
Update Morning 9/9/09:
Almost everything good/valuable was taken off of the car, but it's all still there. Suspension, wheels, front hubs, motor, all the turbo stuff...etc. Even all the tools n jacks from the damn thieves.
We did notice some things missing, cf spoiler, intercooler and whats funny...the battery.
Don't know exactly where they found the car yet, but the police said lawrenceville and hwy 316. The police did a full fingerprint search...and found some...but they're still working on it. Damn thieves took the car off-road.....it's all muddy.
We will be taking the car back to salvage whatever we can and part out. I'll post up the pictures later.....camera's battery is dead.
UPDATE 9/8/09:
GWINNETT POLICE CALLED THIS MORNING.
THEY FOUND THE CAR AND IS NOW AT LANCE. DIDN'T TELL US MUCH BUT THAT IT IS PRETTY MUCH STRIPPED.
THE POLICE HASN'T RELEASED THE CAR SO CAN'T GO SEE IT YET.
WILL GET MORE INFO AND NEW PICTURES AND UPDATE SOON.
My hatch was stolen between 12 am - 6 am early this morning.
Stolen in front of home in Dacula, Gwinnett County
It's pretty easy to distinct from all the other hatchbacks unless its just a shell now.
He even had the autolock on.....guess it don't work.
Spread the word....see if anyone's seen it or the parts.
