Up for sale is my beloved Trombone. It is a Vintage 1976 Bach Stradivarius Model 42 Trigger Trombone. The serial number on this trombone is 21808. If I recall correctly, this is the last year they were hand made. The tone on this trombone is beautiful. Some of the brass is faded, as noticeable in the pictures but with some metal polish it shines up VERY nicely. I have wrapped the trombone where it touches the skin in a leather wrap to help protect it from the oils on the skin. Included is an easy to carry soft case, music stand, 24k GOLD PLATED Dennis Wick mouthpiece number 6BL, The original Bach 5g mouthpiece, and a Jo-Ral Mute. I cannot the find the original case for this trombone, but the handle had broken off of it anyways. As of September 2nd 2009 the trombone will be going to the repair shop to get the stuck trigger fixed. It still moves, but you have to push it up from the back, not the thumb trigger. THIS WILL GET FIXED BEFORE I SELL IT!! There are 2 very small dents in the top of the trombone where it sits behind the head. This does not affect the playability of this trombone at all. This Trombone has been sitting for 7 years in a case so the slide needs a good lube up and cleaning, but surprisingly it still slides just fine, if not better then alot of trombones out there. I can attribute that to the slide being worked on by the Slide Dr. (www.slidedr.com (http://www.slidedr.com)) and he did a fantastic job on my trombone slide. If you have any questions, please ask! This is beautiful trombone that has helped me skyrocket to the top of my class when I was in high school. But since I chose not to pursue music after high school, I have no need for this anymore and rather then let it just sit I am passing it on to someone who can get good use out of it and cherish it for what it is.

Import Atlanta Special price of $600 For everything. You cant beat that deal anywhere!

Shot in the dark, but I figure there has got to be at least a couple Trombone players in here that want a nice trombone that sounds awesome. If this is in the wrong section, then please do move it! Thanks!

Sorry the pictures are so large, but I think it is necessary to show detail on such an expensive item.

mine is a 1989 one, strat 40 light weight, has the official star for light weight lol didn't...even though how much lighter can you get with em. Defiently a step up from regular horns, the bores are huge which is nice can move air a lot faster

Hey Smitty, if you know any trombone players, let them know - I'll give them the same price as IA members - 600 bucks, hell of a deal since the Dennis Wick mouthpiece is worth 90 bucks alone.
