out of curiosity is that just how the front fascia/fenders fit? If so have fun keeping the side of you car clean

RPF1's are nice.

But what the fuck is going on with the rest of the car? You going for a half-transformed optimus-prime look?

Wheels are nice but not realy feeling the front and back fenders...

Sammich
08-29-2009, 10:16 PM
dont like the front bumper...maybe w/ a huge FMIC...but i also believe a more aggressive set of wheels should have been put on...the RPF-1s are way too plain for your setup..if you are going to rock that cosmetic setup...get some crazy wheels

is it just me or does it kinda look like a inbred Prowler?

also why 9.5 all the way around? kinda large for the front aint it?

i don't know what it is about this car... i know it should be nice, but there is just something that's not meshing right with me. i can't put my finger on it. i think i really want to see some good pictures of it too though.

waiting on some measurements before doing anything crazy. RPF1's are cheap, needed something to get on the car quick

exactly what I was going for...lol

I want to be able to rotate tires. With -2 to -3 camber on the rear wheels, i need to be able to make tires last as long as possible

You going to really hate the rain with those fenders! looks good tho

i dont hate the rain, but the people next to me do...lol I will try to get some shots of the car in action in the rain, its quite funny

There are few s2k's that i like and this is one of the few. I like your car over the yellow one here that floats around that everyone seems to glorify. I like the kit bc i know j's makes functional pieces and it doesnt look like every other s2k you see. The rpf1s are played but i see your reasoning, and just from the kit alone im sure theres much more to come. Props on a nice build and having a different s2k than most.

18x10.5 +22 will fit perfect :goodjob:

let me guess. you got a set for me too...lol

I am thinking about going to 18's but I also want to bring this baby to the mountains once I get some proper suspension installed so I am not sure. Without boost I think 18s would be too much wheel, it would look goo, but I am looking for function as well.

We will see, I have to first pay my last shop bill off before anything happens...lol

I'd drive it... looks great.

I'd love to do a front fender setup like that eventually. Is there any underbody aero to go with it? Any plans on protecting the paint on the leading edge of the rear arches/mirror/front fenders? That is about the only negative about the design of the front wheel/fender area.

no protection...the way I look at it, I built the car to drive, I am going to drive it and if something scratches it o well. Now I am not saying that want any of this to happen, but shit the first day I had the car back I hit something on the highway and chipped the hell out of the front bumper. o well, its just a car
