Hey whatsup everybody! Lately fishing has been scarce due to the temperature and what not. What are some hotspots we can all use and where are they located if yall experienced fishers dont mind. My hotspots would be anywhere deep on Lanier. I only know one spot in Gainesville but right now its not biting in this weather. Since fishing season has started, Ive started using live blueback herring @ Lanier. My line setup is a egg sinker(freeline), swivel and a stronger fishing line for the one foot hook line. 14lb line is what I am using currently on my 6footer poles.

Here's some places Id like to know where the hotspots are...
*Lake Oconee (I heard the broke bridge location is good but dont know where its located)
*Lake Lanier

I havent tried using live bait @ Lake Oconee yet but Id like to try it this weekend if anyone could give me some advice on some hotspots. No boat owner here, straight off the banks & shore.

Tried using lures and zoom super flukes but never had any luck before. Straight live bait every time is what I use. Cut bait only if my bait is dead and only catfish have been taking the cut bait.

Would love to catch a striper of any size since I havnt caught one yet; herring is what they love but to my knowledge, minnows rarely will get a striper is what my buddy told me.

Any hotspots and techniques would be great for all of us IA members. Thanks
