need a tranny or clutch guru ( old school mini cooper)

with the car off , i can put the car through all gears , when i start the car , it wont shift into any gears ( outside of what it starts in ) i.e. reverse or 1st , it will run in those gears , but will not budge out of them until you shut the car off , it has a hydro clutch! any help is graetly appreciated:goodjob:
