Makes no sense, because P.Diddy pays the same amount for 2 kids and makes/worth more Then Nasir ...

That means he was making good money a month...

If not, I would suggest he leaves the country.

most judges go off what you did make.. if you made like 2k a week but are out of work. the judge in most cases will say your capable of making that again and tax you on that

my dad paid like 1100 a week for a kid that wasnt his.. but because he signed the Birth Certificate the judge said he took responsibility for the kid.. come to find out it wasnt his.. so the kids grand parents took him got full custody and had the child support dropped from my dad.. he paid for like 6 years

Thats cheap. My little girls dad was paying $545 a month when I first put him on child support. She was/still is his only child. But since we now do joint custody, I took him off child support so that the months shes with him, I don't have to pay him nadas =). When she's with me I just ask him to pay the remainder of her daycare which is $120 a mth, plus anytime I need a few extra dollars I ask.

Sucks my dad only paid my mom $50 a week in child support for me. But he also took me school shopping every year & spent hundreds on clothes @ Dillards and JC Penny.

My father was lucky I guess... lol

He had to pay 5K in back Child Support.. and was told to pay $45 a week..

The mother of my brother was pissed.. hahaha

I mean, my dad hit rock bottom back in the late 80's early 90's after loosing all he had.. so the woman thought she was going to get something big.. lirl.. it didnt happen.

My dad had a good lawyer I guess..

That dont included all the extra stuff she takes, like dancing, gym and clothes. I consider her my 09 zo6 car payment....hahahaha

Still 44k for one kid monthly, and it's a new born at that. My cousin has 2 kids, one is 1 yr old and the other one is 10 months or so and I know it doesn't take 44k to support them. Some of the prices the courts come up with is just ridiculous.

No offense but your dad is stupid. If he is still paying your mom 1600 a month for 2 children and you dont live at home. The 1600 would be for 2 children and since one is an adult now, he is not responsible too pay your mother anymore. If you aare in College the money would be going too you now.

You need a better lawyer man. She can not just drum up extra expenses. All you are required to pay is 2K a month. Now if you wanna help her that up too you. But if you tell her to go too hell their in nothing she can do about it.

My baby mama tried to pull that same stuff on me. We went back to court and the judge told her she was crazy that i wasnt a open check book. Now she will ask for my help, since she knows she cant demand shit from me. Besides 630 + health insurance.

I understand what you're saying and I actually have a really good lawyer..
Conversely, I'd rather my kids have everything they need than for them to go w/out...Once I move back to GA, we will resume our joint custody and the payments will be less.

Your Mom is raping your Dad, then. That's bullshit. As soon as my oldest son moves out, my child support stops. No ifs, ands or buts. Later, QD.

Im the same way. But you have to draw the line somewhere. Your not obligated too pay anything more then the 2k.So if she wants too add more and you dont feel like it, tell her too go to hell.

Read my post above..... And support stops once the child stops going to school. If they go too college he still gotta pay. So i figure 21 will be the stopping point.

That's what I meant. I know he is going to college next semester. He wants to live at home and go, but he's not sure yet. But either way, it'll be around 21 or so when I'm done.

And, just so you know, health insurance is not a "drummed up" extra. It's the law that if the Father has a company that provides insurance, he has to get it for the child. Later, QD.

I wasn't implying that health care is a drummed up extra....
She really does come up with excuses for which she needs additional money every week because she doesn't manage money well.

I'm a firm believer that the child support system, if you will, needs to undergo huge changes and should be way more reasonable for the non custodial parent.

Luckily, like I stated in a previous post, when I move back to Ga joint cutody, both legal and physical, will resume so it won't be so much of a hassle then.

Bullshit. Sorry but it is, No court would make an order like that, they go based off your income alone. They cant say in 2 years he will be making more, the mother would have to take him back to court too get that, so someone is feeding you some BS.

Not bullshit my friend.. retired military.. (05 I believe was his rank) he did 20 years.. he gets a checc.. that are taxing that. and what his businesses make.. the car washes..carpet cleaning business and barbershop and studio he has.. I was in the court room when the verdict was made... he gets monitored visitation.. why do you ask... the Domestic violence with my aunt. his drug abuse (weed) and he was an ass trying to defend himself at the 1st hearing in the Domestic trial. When they went to family court.. Gwinnett family court raped him. Plus my aunt is a social worker so I think her pull with her co workers had something to do with it

Yep. She or the court will review the case and file a motion for an increase or decrease in support payment. The non-custodial parent will receive a court date for a hearing and he/she will be able to go and plead his/her case on why the support payment should not increase if they wish to contest it.

On the other side of the fence, the non-custodial parent can also do the same thing to see if the support payment can be lessened. I wouldn't do that, as it may lead to them reviewing and seeing that you're not paying enough and increase it.

There are no automatic increases at certain time intervals. Unless it is stipulated in court papers. Later, QD.
