Up for sale is a near mint condition 1995 Suzuki DR650 Dual Sport Bike. It is one of the cleanest used bikes I have ever owned. It has 5500 miles. It runs great. Cranks up on the first bump of the key. I bought it with the intention of turning it into a really nice long distance cruiser for a trip out west. I am getting out of the ARMY sooner than I thought and I would like to sell all my toys.
1995 Suzuki DR650
VIN - JS1SP45A1S2100154
- 5500 miles
- Bonded title ($125)
- New tires ($200)
- New Grips ($10)
- New oil change ($40)
- New oversized foot pegs ($70)
- New DirtSkinz Fork Seal Protectors ($30)
- New Air Filter ($40)
- New Buell Ulyses turn signals (shorter and smoked lenses) ($60)
- New front and rear brake pads come with it ($60)
- New clutch less than 800 miles ago
- Factory Oil Cooler
- Aftermarket skid plate
The bike will come with some riding gear if needed. It runs perfectly. All the lights work. Motor runs smooth and gears shift properly. I have seen these bikes in worse condition with 3 times as many miles go for around $2500. The original owner I bought the bike from lost the original title. He was an older gentlemen in his late 50's. The bike fell over on a trail ride when he didnt let the kick stand on hard ground. When he and I contacted Suzuki they said that because the bike was older than 10yds old they would not re-issue a Certificate of Origin. I purchased a bonded title and the bike is registered and insured. With the prices of fuel going up again this is a great buy. I have only ridden it about 100 miles but I havent even gone through about 2 gallons. The factory claims 55ish MPG. I have heard between 45-60mpg. This bike just needs a rider.
CASH PRICE - $2500 obo. This is of course negotiable; however, I dont want to get to beat up on the price. I paid $2000 for the bike and then spent almost $635 adding all the new goodies. I just wanted her to be perfect for my trip. This bike has not been beaten. It truely is clean!
