...American Dream.

Whats your thoughts on your own american dream?

Mine has greatly changed through out the years, and having my baby boy now really changed it once again.

At one point in time, I knew I would become pro Racing Motocross. After injuries that slowed me down on the track, that was Kaput!

Then, my attention turned. To cars. From muscle to imports, I wanted them all. My dream there was to start my own customization company. After moving around, having terrible luck with life, that fell through.

Lastly, i'm thinking, my American Dream, which will be hopefully the final chapter. I'm working on paying some fines from past problems, and i'm going to the Marines.

Using the cash to pick up the down payment on a nice place for Her, Our Son, and myself to call home.

Live my life to the absolute fullest, and not miss one thing in my little boys life. Its amazing watching him grow, and change, and he's only 3 months.

So, whats yours?

My American Dream:

Im happy to hear that you have goals and you have the american dream. but i can honestly tell ya from experience. that if you wanna watch your little one grow. the marines isnt the way to go. cause i know you'll be spending much time over seas and training and shit.. i dont mean this to sound mean or anything. but i just know cause i had the same dream. and now i have nothing. though i truly do wish you well and i hope that you are able to watch your little one grow up and never truly miss an important min of his life. good luck with it..

See, I was also told about reserves in the marines. I dont know anything much past that. I'm greatly leanig toward the marines, because I have atitude problems. I think I would benefiet very well from going there. I'm beginning to think I should consider another branch thought.

every part of the marines get moved and very few stay stateside right now. Its hard to tell you if you'll stay or go cause i dunno what your actually able to go in for and also what all there sending people over for. I think my boy dusty has been the only one i know that hasnt gone over there. and thats only because he stayed stateside for medical reasons. and they let him stay in and do his job in cherry point to finish out his time. But i do wish you the best of luck. if ya do go in.. dont believe what the recruiter tells you! most of its bull and the rest is just shit! But definitly have fun with whatever you do.. and im glad ya gettin shit put together. i just wish my life would come together
