Why in the hell would you buy a new car? The auction has really great deals, if you know someone who has a dealers license. You really get the best deals off of high-end cars, they have the biggest break in the price. New m3s for 42k with low miles, big drop from the about 70k price tag. I could go on forever. If you don't have to never by new.

Welcome to a long time ago...Cars are depreciating assets, period. Only rare cars increase in value. Cars are nothing but a drain on the wallet, no matter how much we love them....

As for me, I love a nice CPO luxury vehicle.....let someone else get hit with the initial depreciation.

Hmmm, I'm guessing you have a dealer's license. That's great for your friends, but for most people they don't have the kind of access you do. Not only that, but when people get new cars they are usually upgrading and use their old car as part of the down payment. You can always sell it on your own, but it's much easier to just drive up to the dealer and get rid of and not have to worry about the headache of deadbeat buyers and tire kickers who have no money, but just want to window shop or test out their lowball skills. If I was looking for a car that's more than 3 or 4 years old I would go to an auction, but anything newer and I'm headed to the dealer.

this is the lamest post i've seen in a while.. Welcome back to 1870..

And BTW -
you dont need to have a dealer license to buy @ an auction..

License only takes away the limits of vehicles you can buy...

Believe me, I know people who buy every time.. to re-sell.

Plus, there is always ways around it ...
