Exactly what is it about owning an underpowered rear wheel drive car that makes you think that every 90 degree turn is they perfect time to get some drift practice in?

I understand they are cheap, and easy for you to completely mutilate and make look like shit, but is a two lane connector road that is moderately busy with family traffic the right time or place in chich to flaunt your jdm tightness?

Although I do not fit into the demographic of the typical 240 owner... I must say that 78% of people are jealous they didn't buy/can't handle a RWD car.

Did you know that 86.23% of statistics are made up?

LOL

i wish I still had mine. unfportuantely my spiteful ex made me sell it to, you guessed it, some prepubescent teeneager, who the very next day called asking how to convert the headlights for the sleepy headlights look etc.

I miss my 240.

I don't miss being rev'd at by every honda civic in town. But yeah, i made the 85% up. just seemed close. But echo, your old ass doesn't fit in the age range I mentioned either. Hasn't for about 70 years or so now:taun:

Ouch.

I have never been rev'd at in mine. Although the exhaust is so loud and deep mine even my neighbor (who works at a performance shop) thought I was running an RB instead of the SR.

Either that or they look over at me and figure I'm driving my kids car that day...:(

My car has such a stigma that only the local mexicans and idiot ricers rev at me.

Any intelligent n/a honda driver tends to either just wave or go on their way.

The ones that would race me, have enough respect to not try and initiate it in the day time anyway

Although I drive the dreaded 240 I agree with this thread, and shockingly a lot of the people I know with 240's would too. The kids fuck things up for everyone. One guy sold his Sil-fronted S13. Two days after the sale I saw the kid sliding it onto 316 westbound during morning rush hour. RWD DOES NOT MAKE YOU A DRIFTER AND IF IT DID BEING A DRIFTER MAKES YOU GAY!!!!!

I hate my car.I know the feeling. My old CRX at the end had a built B16 and 2 stages of Nitrous. The faster I made it the slower it went.

At least yours has a backseat and four doors.

I just watched a Best Motoring video and they put a Silvia S14 Ks up against an Integra Type R, and the Honda went to town on that ass. Also took a ride in one tonight that can confirm this.

Jus sayin

I'm just play'n... My S13 was perfectly reliable for years until I went to Liesa's funeral. Blew a turbo on the way there, replaced the turbo and it spun a bearing a day later because the oil pump failed. Finally had the motor completely rebuilt drove it twice and the fuel pump went out. There is almost nothing left to replace.

reason 1 why i got out of my 240.. both i had.. was the fact every mexican white and blacc bastard in a god damn honda down here rev'd at me or wanted to race from light to light.. and if your familiar with orlando.. OBT (orange blossom trail) and colonial drive is like Peach tree industrial in atlanta.. busy and pot holes... plus my girl wanted me to teach her how to drift the deuce 4.. so i said hell naw I'll sell them before you become a ricer
