it'll blow the tread off the tire.. Probably doing metal damage.

take tire off ASAP. DO NOT drive on it. Borrow money to get a new one or walk.

I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say they are Riken branded tires?

Like Got_Purp said, don't risk driving on them.

Yeah I was thinking it would be pretty risky to try and drive anymore on it.
Thanks for the response.

Theyre 205 40 16's.

My buddy's dad owns a local tire shop where I purchased all of the tires originally.

Ill probably go by there monday morning and see what he can do.

I was thinking staples?

Staples can't pull tight. They just press shit downwards and in hopes that it'll hold.

Yup, someone beat me to it & said Riken tires. Those tires looks like crap, I'd never buy em but anyway go ahead & replace it. The damage that could happen from the tire completely going out will be much worse than the $70 you spent on that Chinese tire.

Were they really 70? Dang, you can get 4 new 205/40/16 Proxxes 4s for only 340.........

n allota times that split (especially where its at) is caused by running on it with no air in it

roll the tire around n listen the hear any ((stuff)) klunking around inside....if so the side wall was eaten up from the inside

this happens a lot on lower profile tires...cuz you cant feel the sloppiness in yer ride (from under inflation) do to the short sidewall
by the time you realize it...............................its almost ALWAYS to late:(
