Inspired by Julio's thread about his dad texting.
#1. Dan's step mom saw Miranda post on my FB wall about her and I spooning over the weekend. She called me up and asked me if I was on Cocaine because that's all she could think of when it comes to spooning—snorting cocaine out of one of those little spoons. WTF?????!!!!!
#2. Me and my mom got into a fight 2 days ago and she decided it was best to vent on my Facebook page via several wall posts. Then she went off on Changaroo for a comment he made about it, then she added him as a friend. LOLZ. Beat that. She is 49.

It took the longest time for me to explain to my mom that bluetooth has absolutely NOTHING to do with blu-ray.

My dad went on a retarded tirade on my FB about my tats. Telling me I should get some on my forehead, and asking me if getting tattoos made me feel smart..and other stupid shit along those lines.....needless to say I deleted the comments and defriended his ass.

couple months back i suggest for my dad to get a blackberry for work, he told me he wasn't hungry. after atleast 30 mins of explaining what the hell a blackberry was he asked me more questions on his soon to be blueberry.....he still thinks its called a blueberry.
because the big print of the front that says blackberry just doesn't cut it.

My dad (retired, 69 years old) got a new receiver for the entertainment goods at the house and proceeded to get his ass kicked over 4 days trying to plug everything back in.

My parents are technically adept, but my extended family is another story.
It took me 2 hours to explain the concept of the internet. He then handed me a floppy disk and actually wanted me to put "the internet" into the 1.44" floppy disk (This was in 2000). A couple of years later I was giving him a website address over the phone, and he was really pissed about the 3 Ws in www.xxx.com.
He argued with me that the world is only one, so there should be only 1 W or something... WTF?!!

when my mom isnt exactly sure 100% on how to do something on the computer she immediately stops and calls me or my brother for help, regardless of how simple it is. we've told her that the best way to learn is to click around and explore until you figure it out, but she is scared that she will screw up the computer. she has this deep fear of clicking the unknown LOL

I tried to entertain my dad with some free online slots. He sat at the computer, I told him to hit the "Bet" button and he literally touched the screen. This was like 6 years ago before touchscreen was 'the thing'
And maybe about a month ago he bought a used computer and called me because he couldnt figure out how to turn the volume up to watch vids on youtube. I went through all the simple instructions I could with no luck. I then I asked him... "umm.. do you have speakers?" he said no....

I came home from college and was on one of the neighbors unsecured networks. I told My mom I was stealing their internet so she came over and closed my laptop yelling about how they didn't want to get fined or put in jail like the people stealing music LOL.
I got a call a few weeks back from my mom saying the windows wouldn't roll up and she was getting wet. She asked if I would take the car to Toyota the next day. I asked if the window lock button was on. Long pause followed by a thanks and I'll talk to you later LMAO.
My dad thinks he knows what he's doing and refuses for you to help him and when you do he's just like ya that was what I was doing *sigh I'm sure it was*
