I bought a donor CRX recently to get some parts for my CRX. Heres what i did today.......

Installed the JDM front end on my car.

Carbon Hood
Fenders
JDM Bumper
Headlights

I also installed an 88 HF Front Bumper support which eliminates the crash bar and reduces about 20lbs in weight from the front end.

All in all im happy with the turnout. Unfortunetly the EFs are notorious for having tons of issues lining everything up. This one was no different. I dont think ive ever had a Carbon hood that ever lined up straight. This is a VIS hood too, so its not like its total crap. I need to do a little more adjusting to get it perfect. I didnt want to do too much cause ill have the car painted in the next few weeks.

Didnt install the amber corners because Charles at Mainstream Performance has to do some headlight rewiring because the JDM headlights take a different bulb and harness.

Im throwing some other stuff in the engine bay later this week, but ill wait to post pics of that :ninja:


Oh and thanks to Peter aka Initial_EG, he is in all the pics, and he helped me out , was way easier with 2 people

I was joking with peter about how from the pics it looks like i didnt do shit haha. If you look in three of the pics hes working on the same section i just took different angles haha.

He was late getting to mainstream, i actually took the entire front off myself before he got there.

But since he is the body guy, he helped me line everything up as best as we couldt

i actually didnt plan on it but it was free so.........

I actually drop some weight with the carbon hood, and the SIR style hood gives me a lot more clearance under hood
