I'm guessing because of the clean up left for you from the weekend crew. I know when I worked in retail mondays sucked because of the cleaning from sales weekends.

I work at Discover Mills and it was not really that busy this weekend. it sucks because we have so much new stuff to put out that we can not get it done fast enough. To make things worse, they just called me in early!! AHHHHHHH!! Now I remember why being a manager sucks even more!!

see I wasnt a manager so that might not pertain to me, but yes when new stuff comes it sucks because there is so much of it that you might not need half of it but you have to find a place to put it. What store at Discover Mills do you work at? I live no further than 25 minutes from that mall.
