Hawks get Joe Smith, which is a great idea to teach Josh Smith and Horford how to play some post.

Hawks are also talking extension for Joe Johnson. Hawks are working hard to keep the core together.

Also, Hawks have 7 national televised games this year. Woot, getting popular

I think they'll hit 50. They shored up the big guys and the bench is better IMO

lol they wont get 50... the east got better and the hawks stayed the same... they need to trade some players... hawks will never be that great of a team because they don't know how to trade/draft players... this year the teams to look for are the Spurs, lakers, celtics, and magic.

A. Somtimes staying the same is getting better. They have a good core, why change that? B. They added a better scorer and a bigger front court.

B. Drafted Smith, Williams, Horford, been to the playoffs 2 straight years. Where were D. Wade, Chris Paul, Etc etc playing when the Hawks were still in the playoffs?

The Celtics didnt draft SHIT other than Rondo. Orlando drafted Howard. Without Kobe, that laker team dont tick. Spurs are old and injury prone. Duncan isnt what he used to be.

Spurs are ready this season with the addition of richard jefferson and now that Ginobili is getting back to 100% we will be good :D

but where were the hawks when wade won his nba championship?

They were building, they were getting better for I think 5 consecutive seasons? Parker and Ginobli are both injury prone and Duncan's knees are all but gone

parkers injury prone? the guy got injured last season for the first time... duncan is old but still has at least another season in him. Ginobili is going to be back, he is resting now... just watch 09-10 nba champions... San Antonio Spurs :D

I dont feel like looking it up, but for the past 5 seasons or so, the Hawks have increased their win total every year. Ginobli and Parker both play recklessly like D. Wade and have high chances of geting hurt.

have to bump this back up and say its retarded that the worst section seats in philips arena would cost $1100 for a season pass when one ticket costs $25 x 41 home games = 1,025... so they are charging more for the season ticket wtf?!?!

lol nobody sits in the nose bleed sections when i go lol... majority of the seat around us are empty

not that im aware of since philips arena doesn't really own any parking deck lol
