Thanks but no thanks. I'm not a fan of polished frames and swingarms. My friends barely got this much chrome out of me. I've always been a performance over looks but as I get older I like cleanliness. I think this bike is just right. Not too much chrome. Just enough.

Funny all us ia OG,s are getting bikes... X2 on the fast for much cheaper.... I spent TONS of cash on cars over the years.. None of the cars i built would touch my STOCK gsxr and the bike was half the price...lol

Yeah it had a strip. Bought the bike, rode it home, rode it to the shop, tore it down, did all the mods, rode home, went to Myrtle Beach for bike week. Then came home and took those pics. The bike didn't even have 300 miles. I did pull about 175mph in Myrtle Beach on the 22 Conway Bypass. Me and a whole crew of people. No helmet, and a chick on the bike. Sickest thing I've done in my life. But the road was pretty straight so that didn't help w/ the chicken strip.

It would have been dumb if I had gotten a ticket or fell. It's sick b/c I did it and lived through it! Will I ever do it again. I don't know. Believe me when I say it was a crew of people. They even had chicks w/ their own bikes pulling sick numbers. At least 20 of us. Everybody no helmet, no gear, NOTHING!! Closest feeling to being FREE I've ever been a part of.

It was dumb regardless of whether you crashed and killed not only yourself, but also your passenger or gotten arrested. It was lucky that you didnt kill yourself or get arrested. but hey, everyone gets their kicks in different ways. have at it.

Yeah I had a Blue 06 R1. It was a great bike. Had tons of mods on it. I put it back to almost stock and traded it in for the GSXR. I plan on buying another 04-06 R1 for just track duties. I love the handling and braking of that bike. Oh and believe it's no slouch on the top end.

Bike is nice. So how is the exhaust? I am thinking of going Leo or Jardine for my 08 Honda CBR 1k. Mine will be slip on though, but I am sure it is still loud as shit.

My exhaust isn't as loud as you think it is. The GP style shorty exhausts are louder. Mine is perfect. Low, deep rumble at low RPMs but absolutely rips at high rpms. Leo Vince has a great reputation. I'd go w/ Leo over Jardine. I know that the Jardine exhausts for the 07-09 600/750 GSXRs have a huge problem cracking and breaking.

Great looking bike homie! Do what you want, bc it's no different from ppl street racing or speeding. I understand what you did in that moment of time and you know that it was gona be ok, bc if your instinct told you any different, I'm sure, almost positive you wouldn't have done it. i sold one not long ago for $100 there nice but i love arai. my carbon hjc is pretty nice for weight but loud.

Yeah I'm having RidgeRacer off the GSXR forum reflash mine for this season. I'm a Suomy and Arai fan. Never wore an Arai but I've tried them on. I want 1 Suomy and 1 Arai.

That's gay!! I buy a helmet that's a replica of a true RACER!! I hate helmets that match bikes. What if I decide to paint. Last season I owned a blue R1, I would've had to change then. Do you see pro racers wearing color matched helmets-NO!! You see them wearing custom designed helmets!! People love my helmet. Everywhere I go, Riders and non riders always ask me about my helmet.

Actually you're right. Everyone keep buying plain helmets that match your bike and I'll be the oddball. That'll keep me EXCLUSIVE!!! Lol

Lol if you say so. I've only seen like 2 or 3 other people with my helmet. Both were from out of state. Seen one other guy with my jacket but he doesn't even ride lol.

Shit it was only 2 scratched fairings. I still have them but believe me not even that bad. Didn't break anything just scratched stuff. My frame sliders, swingarm spools, and bar ends took all the damage. I can take pics and you wouldn't notice. You would have to come to the house and look up close. My body took 99% of the hit and the damage!! Lol
