So I've never really considered getting either because I never really had a need for portable gaming. However, I just started a new job, and for the next 5 months, I'm pretty much going to be living out of a hotel and figured I could use something to occupy my time.

So, pros and cons for each system? What does everyone prefer? I really know very little about either.

Just to note, I plan on using whichever system pretty much just for gaming.

the psp you can watch movies and shit, but the ds has zelda and some other goood ones. but its more of a personal opinion. i do think the psp has wifi so you can get on the net and stuff, but people have lap tops for that

PSP gets my vote but not by a huge margin. I've had and played both. The extra functions are nice. There are also certain titles out that cause me to prefer the psp.

Just really depends on what kinda games you like and if you like to just play a game or be more "interactive" with your game *The touch screen* both are fun and I have had both but I prefer the DS by very little.

I have both and prefer the DS. Has much better pointless time filler games.

I like the DS better, but the games are more childish than the PSP's, but pokemon is fun man... lol.

PSP is more fragile, but the selection of games on the DS/DSi for a grown man sucks. LOL

Haha, yeah game titles are pretty much my main consideration at the moment. I love Mario Cart and Zelda, but at the same time, God of War and Grand Theft Auto certainly have some appeal to them.

i like the psp.
You have internet, music, movies and better games.
You can also hack a psp and get some retro games.

i would prefer the nintendo ds and just buy the R4 chip for it. Download any DS game you would like. FREE!
