The class structures and names have been changed a bit for the IFO series. Most importantly, there are two new “SPORT” heads up classes for the budget racers who are tired of bracket racing. These two new classes are becoming very popular and are typically filled with 11 to 13 second street cars. The next IFO near Atlanta is on October 18th, 2009 at Atlanta Dragway. All series info on WWW.IMPORTFACEOFF.NET
ALL CLASSES EXCEPT BRACKET ARE .400 PRO TREE HEADS UP.

cliff why is slicks not allowed in pro version of the FI classes but they are allowed in the sportsman side?
Because FI pro is actually the old "Street Class" so we have to keep those rules until 2010 since there are some points racers who set up their car sspecifically for the current rules. If we just changed the rules mid season there would be a lot of pissed off racers.
In 2010, FIP will allow slicks, open exhaust, and out of manufacturer motor swaps.

No need to complain, Commerce is a very strict track. After you run so fast they will have you go back thru tech. Its happened to me alot, they are strict but looking out for eveyones safety. Thats a long way too tow a car, just too be kicked out.
I hope too have the car running by then, but will see as it draws closer.
P.s can you bring my motor with you!!!!:boobies:

I dont think they really care about a chute on the car. I know peter was trapping well over 150mph and they never said anything too him. His cage wasnt even certified, but they did make sure he had a cage in the car.
If you trapping over 135 mph they gonna check for a cage, Drivers jacket, helmet.I think that was all they looked for.
You better go out and get some practice now. Its easy making the power, the hard part is putting it down in a FWD car. I have leanred that over the years.
You can make a 1000hp but if u cant keep the wheels from spinning, you aint winning.

EG Hatch, should be in the high 12's on slicks. I know its way to slow for the pro class but it'll be fun to race again. The only interior is the seats and all of the dash components. Guess I should've said the All motor pro class.

They checked my car for a window net too. If you start running 9's they will ask to see your chassis cert and ask if you have an NHRA license, atleast that's what they did to me. Commerce and Gainesville, FL both booted me for not having them.

i hope it traps enough to finish in 4th lol mine doesn't hit the limiter at 9600 in 4th at the line with a 4.78 final drive so the 24.5's should work fine as long as their not to big you will probably have to leave at 8500 or so, i'll see if i can come up with some smaller slicks if possible just in case
i won't make it in the car but will be there watching hopefully you can pick up the win man. i'll make a pass if you want shooting for some low 12's lol you need to drive it feels nice leaving on slicks man

I took off the entire bumper lol. I think what I can do is throw all the interior and the bumper for the sentra in the bed of the truck, and if I dont break and run competitve times in test & tune, then I'll slap 1/4 of sentra back on for actual competition. Anyone know if you can go through tech twice? Such as a stripped car for test and tune then come back with the interior later in the day to meet the rules for competition?

Like usual his bitch ass didn't show. Or he was hiding somewhere in the bleachers I never saw his car and circled the parking lot looking for it several times.
I'm sure he will have some lame excuse like always. He said track race on the 18th I was there he wasn't

[email protected] best time for me. My slicks were too big so I was bogging off the Line best 60ft was 2.176 when Spoolin drove I couldn't cut faster than a 2.21.
Spoolin ran a personal best 10.3 and won forced induction pro class!
Mahdavi was there in their Cressida gangsta little ride !
Fastest na car was a h2b ef hatch runnin 12.2s
all in all had a good time
you def. need some 22's on that thing, but it looked like it moved out prett good from about 100ft on

Just got back. Was a good time, though just as predicted I broke the sentra and had a buddy drive up there to trailor me home. With the street tires and stock suspension, the wheel hop was soo bad that it cracked the tranny case. That was at a 1500rpm launch, so I didnt think it would of been that bad. My bad about them closing the track for 20min cleaning up my mess. I knew going from a dig would brake it as it did previous times, but Im not gonna run it at the track again untill I get some suspension/tires to keep it from braking aswell as the inconvenience of people waiting in line while they clean up sentra blood off the track.

Clark got jerked fools said his shit was leaking but it didny look like that to all the spectators, so they told him he couldnt run, he had it in the bag if he went, also if the white supra from Traffic Jam didnt break him and Clark wouldve went at it, his messed up at the line and still ran a 8.9 something, good day though:goodjob: cold as shit:(

Yesterday was good. The track prep was excellent. I broke an axle and pulled over about 300 feet from the staring line. The track was so sticky out there. I was cutting 1.72 60's with minmal burnout (previous best was a 1.75). The track officials were professional. Sorry to have help the show up while they loaded me on the rollback, but it was leaking tranny fluid and they didnt want to take a chance on putting more oil down. Congrats to all the winners. It was nice to meet some new people andit was nice to see Spoolin running some awesome times.

I was pulling 1.62 60's
The track was on kill, it started having a couple of bald spots on the 60 foot towards the final round. Those that say commerce sucks obviously never run it on an event day, they actually have rubber the whole way down the track ftw.

Yea, yea. I was running Mike's car one time and it started pulling to the left so I had to correct and I think that is when the tires hit the bumper. He needs some traction bars bad. The stock bushings are about done.
All in all fun day. Was running the family sedan in brackets (slow and constistant can win money) but in the final round I was making a good pass and hit the brakes a little too late and broke out by 0.008.

No I ran a 14.242 on a 14.250 dial in.:( I knew I was running a little too quick and hit the brakes going through the lights but I guess just a little too late (only trapped 90.08 instead of 103 or so like other runs)

Dang man that sucks. I like bracket racing, but it's tricky. Not only do you have to have a consistent car, but your reaction time factors in as well. I lost the semi final round at IFO Alabama last year due to my reaction time. I was closer to my dial in, but my component's reaction time was better. UGH! lol

Just looked at my slips again. I also went 14.6 @ 95.09 :(
That was a motor pass in the left lane. I'm not sure what happened b/c looking at the slip it seems like I lost momentum somewhere 2nd --> 3rd gear shift (which felt good @ the time.. I thought I hit the spot perfectly). Oh well.

It was me you raced against. It was a good race, I saw you slow down at the end and according to the timeslip I drove around you, but it was a very close race haha, surprisingly it's not the closest race I've ever had though...

YES!!! After searching through about 200 photos, I finally just found one where someone was nice enough to take a picture of the sentra. Though the angle of the picture is wrong, you can clearly see the sentra 10 degrees to the right. Im happy as a clam now.
