Headunit Model: Sony CDX-M7815X (motorized)
Mp3, Atrac, HD radio, Auxiliary, 3 pre-outs
I bought this unit about 3 years ago. It has been working great since I bought it. Lately, I have been using the auxiliary input to play my music. Just recently, I wanted to put in a CD, but the motorized faceplate will not open. It will make a short mechanical noise but refuses to open. The radio and auxiliary still works great, and all buttons still function. Even if I continuously press the Source button, it will give me all but the CD option.
Anyone know how to fix this, or am I in need of another headunit?
