Well im sure by now everybody knows i put my built h22 in my dads hatch and his stock f20b in my accord well the skunk 2 manifold was to big of a pain to me to put in his hatch so we just put the stock one back on we had a little problem with the motor so we changed a few things and this is the new dyno numbers. The blue is the old dyno and the red is the new tell me what you think.
h23 crank
crower roads
type s pistons
balance shafts removed
skunk2 stage2 cams
kidd racing header
stock h22 intake
skunk2 cam gearshttp://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i160/michaeldalej/img002.jpg

Looks like that SKunk2 manifold was really killing you in the midrange

naw wasnt the manifold i think it was the pistons hitting the valves and head lol the block was decked a little further than what it was supposed to be everything has plenty of clearence now though. The guy i bought the block from said they took five thousands off when it was more like fifteen. the pistons were supposed to be sticking out twenty thousands they were sticking out thirty six thousands.

scottie said would actualy make about five more horse power with the skunk 2 on it i might find a uro r manifold but its fine for now. It was fourty degrees cooler last time also id like to see what it would do with a uro r manifold and fifty degrees 240 maybe with old skunk 2 stage 2 cams not to shaby.

Dang thats a huge gain from 5500-7000!!! Those are standard stage 2's correct? Is this through a standard prelude tranny?

thanks man yea just skunk 2 stage 2 cams and stok m2 b4 tranyIsnt m2b4 the lsd version of h22 trannys:thinking:

h22 jones
08-17-2009, 08:52 PM
yea m2b4 is the stock h22 lsd trany but i dont think lsd helps you make horse power lol. Im running the valve train out of my f20b head which is a little better springs than the h22 head because the f20b head comes with type s cams so im running type s vavle train.

Isnt m2b4 the lsd version of h22 trannys:thinking:

well it has slightly different gearing... not alot but it does...i think a shorter 2nd and 3rd and longer 4-5

and im wondering on the valve train also. with s2s2

PawnShopCEO
08-18-2009, 12:52 PM
last time it was dyno'd it was in an accord with 19's on it

WTF?
08-18-2009, 02:30 PM
damn good numbers

h22 jones
08-19-2009, 01:37 AM
yea thats to the wheels thanks . The nineteens are actualy realy close to the same size of the tires thats on the car now just the first time we had it dynoed we had some clearance problems with the pistons barely hitting the head and valves so that was taking away power . I actualy had a skunk 2 intake and higher compression the first dyno .

i apprecitate it i got a few more things to do to it andf i think i can run a low 12 we will see . Im still going to keep the body stock all interior no weight reduction i just like it that way.

h22 jones
08-26-2009, 02:52 PM
I got two more hatches to build for a couple of friends so not sure how much time ill get to spend on my dads but there should be two more beast hitting the roads real shortly one puttng down the same power but with a h2b on it so we will see what it does to.

whoops was thinking of the ones you have.

h22 jones
08-26-2009, 09:19 PM
yea 22 by 8 on 15 inch bogarts leaving at 6500 rpms.

PawnShopCEO
08-27-2009, 09:17 AM
now you see why i said you can burn off those tires... I'm gonna need 24.5"

h22 jones
08-27-2009, 08:22 PM
If you put 24.5 on there then you defeat the purpose of running a b series trany because you will have the same gear ratio as a h series trany after gearing it back up but you do what you im running 22s if not 20s just got to find some that hook up maybe 9 inches wide.
