I wonder if he REALLY told her with clarification that he was going away?!?! The least he could have done was call her from a calling card or something once he was there. They must not have been TOO close in the relationship to not have better communication than that. I know that my boyfriend would not be my boyfriend anymore if he didnt have some decency to call or atleast write to me once he got there to say everything was okay.
