Why do i see more and more people putting the tapes on their cars for long trips or something?

it helps to keep bugs and road grime off of freshly washed paint. and its a trend.

Its a cheap paint protector from rock chips an things! worth it on long road trips !

I prefer blue myself but I love me Some Green I mean green tape.

I've used it before on long trips especially when driving at night. Some people go overboard and use it as a design. I've also used it during open track days to cover my DRL's so no one would think I was flashing them. In addition people use it at the drag strip to keep hot rubber off their rear fenders when doing burnouts.
