I am selling my wife's yellow 2000 VW beetle, it ONLY HAS 51k miles.Asking 8k OBO. looks and runs great. Still under warranty

-5 speed
-tilt steering
-AC
-air bags/side
-pretty new tires
-CD changer but needs magazine
-tape player
-AM FM
-manual windows
-power locks
-alarm
-interior is in good condition

98........well no, it is a 2000 that is the way she bought it. decides if it was a 98, only 50k would be crazy, it is a 2000 and i am 100% on it!

just curious why are you buying a SI?

well, me and my wife both want something else, we like the SI. I have a 99 DX that is a little fixed up and about to turbo soon but we want a SI because the motor and the options it comes with. It is just hard to find a good deal on one that has not been all ran to hell. i test drove one that some guy only wanted 6k but it smoked so that was kinda disappointing. My wife gets to make the final decition on what car we get. we looked around at other cars but she dont seem to like anything else that we have seen except for the 06 SI. So if we cant find a 99-00 we might just wait will Dec and get the new one.

Bump for a good car. I never understood why VW gives a car a full alarm with power locks, keyless entry, but manual windows, though.
