They made so many different styles of the s197 and the owners claim them to be "custom" when they made thousands like the one they have.

its not his old car. OnebadGt's car had a powerhouse turbo kit on it, this one is a vortech.

Ant, Ford has the ronaele package but they come with Saleen blowers. there are also small differences in the kit ( exhaust tips ect). now im not a fan of the body kit for the same reason you are, they are on ALOT of mustangs but thats not reason to diss his car. he built what he wanted. the car runs strong too.

Hundreds and Thousands? Well, if it looks good it looks good. Evidently everybody wanted one. True, I didn't really put much of a personal touch on it, but it just looked too good to change. I wanted it to look like as much like the original Eleanor as I could so I used the whole kit, left the pin stripes off the racing stripes, added the hood pins & used the same GT500 badges. Now it's my own ;)

Tungsten grey was a $4500 paint job?! Whole car re-painted or just the kit?
Mine was originally black & since I wanted to look just like Eleanor I used Pepper Gray like the movie car. Kinda wish i left it black & just painted silver stripes.

no, the car was tungsten grey from the factory, it cost $4500 for just my stripes, but he repaints the entire car pretty much, he stripped and painted the front clip, hood, roof, trunk, and rear bumper, then put 6 coats of clear, you cant feel the stripes anywhere not even under the car, its smooth as glass, and the stripes on the side are painted and cleared
