Make: Honda
Model: Accord Lx
Year: 1997
Mileage: 208k
The time has finally come to sell my accord. I am selling this so I can buy a new Tacoma double cab. This car has been a great daily driver still runs and drives great. AC still blows ice cold.
Anyone who knows me and this car can attest to the condition it is in. I have always kept it in immaculate condition. The car was waxed atleast every other month sometimes more often. I bought this car 6 years ago from Ed Voyles Honda with 111k miles and have daily driven it since. It has always been Garage kept since I bought it. The oil has been changed with Mobil 1 synthetic every 3k miles. The transmission fluid has been changed every 10k miles with Mobil 1 Synthetic. Clutch was replaced at 130k miles with an exedy stage2 organic. The tires were replaced back in November and only have about 10k miles on them. The timing belt, balance shaft belt, both tensioners, water pump, camshaft oil seal, balance shaft seals, front main seal, and accessory belts were all replaced last august at 190k something miles with All Genuine Honda parts. The valve cover gasket and oil pan gasket were also replaced at that time. The car does not leak a drop of oil. It has been a great car and I have never really had any problems with it other than the starter. I have the receipt for the new starter which has a lifetime warranty from Advance Auto Parts. I also think I may have the receipts for both axles as well which have lifetime warranties on them from Advance Auto Parts.
Mods:
Sprint lowering springs w/ SPC camber kit. Tokico Blue gas shocks (replaced last may).
17" Rota Subzeros with 215/45/17 Nexxen N5000 (great tires btw love them!) Short ram intake with AEM/K&N filter.
Alpine head unit that is connected to two amps. Infinity Kappa 12 with custom spare tire well sealed box and fake trunk floor. The sub is powered by an Alpine V12 amp. There are some pioneer 2 way door speakers in the front (not sure of the model but they were pioneer's top of the line when I bought them). The door speakers are powered by an old school MTX blue thunder amp.I put the stereo in the car shortly after I bought it and still sounds great to this day. The stereo also has an aux input stereo Ipod hookup and the car is also wired for Sirius Satellite radio.
Battery has been relocated to the trunk in a marine battery box.
Black housing headlights and tail light turn signals. Depo JDM style corner lights.
94-95 Accord Grill
Engine: Stock F22B2
VIN#: 1HGCD5535VA083395
Condition: Excellent
PRICE: $3,000 FIRM CASH. If you dont wanna pay $3k then go to hell. DO NOT OFFER ME ANYTHING LESS. Don't waste my time and yours if you dont have the cash.
The Bad: The Intermittent wipers stopped working a few months ago. I think the switch on the steering column needs to be replaced. The medium and high wiper settings still work fine. I also think it needs a new rear motor mount as there is some vibration at idle and when you first take off. The Cruise control was taken out years ago. I still have it however and you should be able to hook it back up if needed. There is a big scratch (maybe 6" long) on the back bumper where some stupid old woman hit my car in a parking lot a few months ago and I havent gotten around to touching it up. The front bumper is also still hacked up from when I had an intercooler in there when the car was turbo'ed.
Along with this car you will get the 2 volume Helms manual, and a big tupperware bin full of random accord parts and goodies that I wont need anymore.
