Time to say goodbye...

Yesterday, I got a phone call from one of the sister companies that I work for with an offer to take a sales position in the Northeast based out of Boston. I'm about 100% I am going to take it which means I will have to move. It's looking like late October will be the date in which I will have to make the transition. It's a good move for me and gets me exposed more to the business that I am in. Unfortunately, I hate the Red Sox and the Pats but other than that it should be a positive move. :lmfao: I'm not going to leave the boards this instance but I wanted to share with everyone what is going on.

I can't express enough how much I appreciate the friendships and support I have gathered while I lived in Atlanta. You all have been very kind to me over the years and have helped me without question. That goes a long way with me and says a lot about the majority of the community in which we are immersed. Thank you! :cheers: The friendships I have made and the people I have met I will never forget. I also will be checking in from time-to-time to say what's up! I still have obligations/reasons to come back so I'll be around once in a while.

The Bumble Bee is being shipped North next week for the Buschur DSM/Evo shootout, so that will most likely be the last time she is in the South. My move will take place in October sometime, but that will be here before we know it! I just wanted to say thank you for everything and I'm going to miss hanging out with everyone. Please eveyone be safe, be as smart as you can when you are racing, and keep that shiny side up!

Nice meeting you as well. I blew the trans yesterday on that last run. After 2 years of pure abuse and banging gears, the trans finally gave out. The slicks were hooking so hard I couldn't get it off the line. I started messing with the 2step and came off really hard on the 3rd pass and BOOM... that's all she wrote. Something happened in 2nd gear after the bogged launch. Big props to Brandon for hooking me up with a tow there and back. :cheers:

How would it be the shift linkage? Didn't the car roll when you put it in first or second gear? But when you put it in third, and pushed it, it wouldn't roll? My buddy Travis, (big guy with the "A" hat on, ACCORDPRIDE on here) said he was talking to you about it. It would be great if that was all it was, just wondering if that would be reasonable though... Let us know, man!
