View Full Version : SOHC to DOHC swap, does fuel pump need to be changed?
I was wondering two things:
1)if my car came with a D16Z6 and there is a b18c1 now, does the fuel pump need to be changed as well?
2)if it does, and there is no difference, how do i know the difference between the two pumps?
thanksss

not worth the time money if your not going to have extras to really require more fuel.

I rather have a walboro if any.... Stockers are just fine!
Adding boost then thats a different story

I've done numerous swap and didn't change the pump. If fuel pressure is fine, then your fine. Now if the car had a ton of miles on it, I would change it for good measure.

agree isnt nothing like a new pump over one that is 15+ years old and 200k miles
