Well if im ever in town maybe we'll get together and swap out hinges, I should be there in December, thats the plan.

yo ant. i'll take some pics of mine tomorrow & send them 2 u so u know exactly where to cut....it's pretty easy...u can do it all in like30 min...holla

i mean really, why do it. Like 5 years ago, i remember it almost being cool, but now? Come on, make new trends, dont get stuck in the past. Its like headlight conversions and vertical doors? Its just weak sauce IMO these days. What happened to clean and functional. I just dont see judges caring about 'flip flop trunks', it just makes it look like you got rear ended by a semi. But to each thier own.

I have it done to my civic(which is 4 sale) but i don't use them unless its at a show or something. It gets on my nerves. I use the stock hinges and if i want it to work that way i'll just unscrew 1 bolt on each side and it works. So i really have both hinges installed.

See thats tight to me, Im just looking for an easy trick to do. Not worried about the hinges!

i used normal hindges for a house from like home depot then painted them with car paint. Its real simple man. Just kind of hard to explain on line. So when ever i want my trunk to bend like that i just unscrew 2 bolts.
