02 honda civic

i have the basic bolt ons... headers, exhaust, cai, etc.. I have plans to put on a turbo. The only concern is that its an automatic.(even though i hear that its not that big of a problem b/c i wont lose boost in between shifts). My question is what is the best next move.? My goals are 200+... any help is apprecaited!

build the transmission if you are gonna boost it. The motor in those year cars aren't very strong so good luck...I'd almost say sell the d17 and go K

so it doesn't matter that its automatic... i don't know much about transmissions? i've heard of shift kits, but..........

naw...some of the fastest cars are automatic

so what are some things that my friend can do to strengthen his transmission.....

if he wants to make any real power he needs to swap th motor/tranny to an RSX-S setup(k swap).

these motors(d17a1/2) are literally some of the worst honda ever came out with.

i appreciate your help..... i posted the same thread in forced induction, all they mention is upgrading the torque converter!!
