Think it's worth it to put a Greddy supercharger on an automatic celica gt-s?:???:

probably not, simply because the tranny may not hold up. but im not too familiar with that car. Im just assumming. It'd make pretty good power if it does work though, lol.

why not turbo?

Wouldn't I always be in boost because it's an automatic? I have thought about it though.

If u have the money switch the trans to a manual one..as in super charging the motor as is..go to a dealership to details

no you wouldnt always be in boost. once you get to your normal shift point the car will shift. i know for a fact the the car will drive fine on 9 psi with absoutly no problems. i know a girl here in augusta that has a trd SC on hers and its pretty quick!!!

IMHO its a complete waste of $3,500 not including install and tuning, cuz the tranny is gonna fall out of it after 6m anyway. trade it in for a 6speed GTS or save the cash a 6speed swap but expect to spend about 3k to do the swap.

I have turbo'd an automatic integra before and not long after boosting it the tranny went out on me. The torque converter on those stock auto trannys just cant handle the additional power. keep it low boost and as always get a good tune. but, in the long run that auto tranny will be your weakest link.

Autos can be some of the fastest turbo cars! But as others have said, the power level will more than likely exceed what it can handle. So throw a budget in there for a transmission cooler and maybe a rebuild. We have a 2005 Legacy GT here at the house with the push button 5 speed automatic and that thing can scream!! It's all about how they are built. But the factory one will more than likely not be up to the challenge for long.
