I've had so many NFS games since way back... hell I learned about exotic cars for the first time in NFS 2. McLaren F1, Jag XJ220, then the silly ones like the Ford GT90, Ford Indigo, strange things like the Isdera Commedatore 112i and the Italdesign Cala. Even the Porsche one. They just got tackier and tackier as time passed though...

I bought it today.

Amazing game. You really get a sense of speed in the cockpit view.
Crashes are insane in that view also. I never seen a game make it like this.
Vision blurs, head gets jarred around.

I locked up my brakes going about 120mph in a 135i and I had no idea where the fuck I was pointed after I hit the wall. The no HUD options makes it better.

Its no GT or Forza but it is a fun racing game. Definitely a better NFS game then the previous catastrophe's.

the game is good. the best nfs to me, but i havent played the recent ones. just the ole ps1 ones. But at first i didnt like it too much, than it grew on me. The points and start stuff it what kind of makes it cool.

The drifting is kind of gay..lol But its still fun its just hard as hell to get down. But other than that its pretty solid. it has a realism exerience to it. But the physics feel a little different than forza. But it aint touchin forza, but a good try for now tho..lol


Did anyone notice that if u try to drive manual with the default controls, for the 360 i know. That its impossible to brake and downshift.. because the downshift is LB, and the brake is L....lol the only way to do it is with a 6th finger. But once u change the controls, and change the dead spots in the steering, and acceleration, it makes it alot better to me!

I like the whole Cops 'n' Robbers thing...I don't know why Undercover couldn't capture the fun of Most Wanted.

I got the game, didnt really like it much, till I got the nissan GT-R with works conversion. After that, it gets pretty sick. I have almost beaten all the races, I have a GT-R works conversion, a stock Aston-Martin DB-9 and a Civic. I really do miss the more in-depth customization of underground 1 and 2, even if you could turn your car into a lowrider ricer with hydraulics. I also miss the free-roaming aspect of the game where you could just drive around without racing.

Played the demo, the controls threw me off. Throttle on R2 and R3 only(Ps3)? I like how it feels real within the interior. The Viper is hella torquey and the game feels realistic but not as simulative as GT5. If they got co-op drag racing online for the Ps3 on GT5; that is gonna be off the pitbull chain. :goodjob:

i picked it up a couple weeks ago and it took a little while but ive really gotten into it. Since GT5 is taking its sweet time to come out it was the closest i could come for the time being. I really like the incockpit view but if you crash a lot its hard to see out of the glass. The drifting to me is actually pretty enjoyable. For once the 350/370z motor sounds like its supposed to and not like a honda civic. Like others have said though the customization isnt were it should be.

Has anyone figured out how to paint wheels? or do like a dual paint scheme ie: black roof/truck/hood and other color body?

I don't think they included wheel painting in this game. I know the Volk TE37s are available in bronze, white, and black with a red lip so with all that, I doubt wheel painting would've been put in. It's sort of annoying, but oh well.

I'm in Tier 4 and I'm getting fuckin' HANDLED! I was breezin' past guys in the GT-R and now I'm barely keeping up with the pack with the Viper.

I got the Lambo, but the mofo is too loose.

The R8 handles nice for tier 4, very forgiving but not necessarily the fastest thing out there.

This is the game ProStreet should've been.

I'm having an issue with some of my Works cars...my Lamborghini Murcielago and the Nissan Skyline won't go over 155 mph even with ever performance part installed. I even adjusted the gear ratios for each car and it just made it worse. My Works Corvette is fine and my other cars with less power blow the Lambo and Skyline away. I don't know what's up.

Played this, some this weekend. Seemed like a cool game, got the challenger and couldn't keep it from sliding around lol. And the civic Si sounds like it should, as do most the other cars I've raced so far(S2000, 350Z, BMW)... I'm impressed with it....

It's probably on XBOX 360 too, but I checked out the Playstation Store the other day and found a free download which gives you five extra cars.

You get them free in your garage in Career Mode and they're available for play in Quick Race and Online. You can modify all of them, they're driftable and have nitrous available...it's a great free download.
