Truth. Everything in the import scene is unoriginal. I did not go to IA, but from what I saw in the pictures I would have been very bored as all the cars seemed the same. How many tucked bays, motor swaps, and similar wheels can you see before you get tired of it?

everyone is so scared to do their own thing becuase they are afraid of the backlash they will feel from these pricks that think their cars are so cool.

I mean granted, there was a TON of nice cars there, very well done. Im not taking that away from anyone. Im sure people go there to have a good time and hang out with people, etc.

But as a car show, it sucked. It was the same integra/civic/350z/240sx ive seen anywhere else.

What gets me is there is a guys integra for sale on here that is worth about $4000 and hes asking $8000 , the car has a 140k mile LS motor with some stickers on the hood. BUT OH MY GOD ITS CLEAN AND ITS WIRE TUCKED OH SHIT!!!!

lol oh im not offended even if ppl think that i was called out, alex knows that i loved that e36 to death, and that car was kinda the deciding factor that i was going to do it. i just knew that i was not going to keep the wheels like that forever.

And the 'corvette' scene is any different. CCWs, loud exhaust and a small drop... and smoke the tails and side markers. That is what 90% of the Z06s I see have.

Some cars look best when done a single way and other owners like to follow trends or do something 'different'. This is no different. It is the same thing that swept through the e36 scene... clears, LTWs and a drop. Now the 'scene' is to color your wheels something crazy. It is not my style personally but if they want greens wheel then get green wheels.
