Too many free agents out there.

My main list of free agents that have no team (i really do wonder why):

1) Marvin Harrison - all pro WR, had a down year last year, but still makes the catches and great possession receiver. (thinking he might get picked up by the Ravens due to retirement of Bennett)
2)Plaxico Burress - Big tall WR who can change a game with a catch (thinking Vikings might pick him up if Farve comes into town if not I can see him going to Dallas mid-season?? He won't go to jail till next year)
3) Deuce McAllister - big though down hill runner (Seahawks?)
4) Levi Jones - good tackle, but gets beat by the swim move (I can see 49ers needing another tackle)
5)Derrick Brooks - great motivator/leader experienced LB (age has come-only team i think would pick him up is NE if Bruschi gets hurt)

will add more

My guess would be the terms the players want (or the agents) for their contract. Too many players had poor seasons and STILL want the super contract terms.

With Plax, its the legal issues, not really the big money. Marvin is still a $8 mil contract. Deuce hasn't been about money, just wants to start. Levi Jones, most likely get a $12 mil/ 4 years

Burress is done for, no way he plays this year. There are reports that the NY DA's office has declined an offer of 1 year in jail, so I wouldn't count on him playing anytime soon.

Harrison is a liability now, ever since the injury...

Burress is legal issues....

Deuce is also a liability, due to that knee injury and when he came back, never the same.

that is true, but he did break the law having an unlicensed weapon in NY.

The gun was licensed in FL, not NY.
