Picked up another CRX...

This ones in pretty rough shape but I practically stole it from the kid....

I havn't made many definite plans yet, but my first step is to get it looking good. We're goin with a black hood/roof/hatch and a blue body. Probably gonna change the rims, drop it a few inches and call it a day on appearence. Once I decided whether or not I like it and I wanna keep it ill start making a decision on an engine, but right now if i do keep it im thinkin about an H22, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Here's a few pictures I snapped today a little bit after we started sanding it down. There will be more to come in the next few days.

3. The interrior is really clean, the only problem is that the steering wheel is broken, no big deal.

4. It still has the little trunk area, and its in really good shape. If I keep it I'm going to take all of that out, but as of right now I'll leave it in, just in case I decide to sell it.

Seems more likely that the steering wheel was cut through to remove a wheel lock so somebody could steal the car. I could be wrong though.

Look for a clean cut versus a jagged cut.

looks clean just looks like it can use a little tlc.

I had that exact thought on my way home from picking it up, it does look cut...title is clean tho

and yes it was on craigs list...i just got it sunday night.

I guess you should go ahead and get your ass whooper ready because thats what im doing. I dont have the money for real paint...but i have been reading online about how to paint a car with a rattle can and make it look as little like shit as possible...but if it does look like shit then I do have a compressor and maybe we can fix it, i appreciate the offer at any rate.

One more time...sorry to tripple post in my own thread but...

I found some lowering springs and coilovers on ebay that are like $25 bucks and i didnt know if there was like a standard quality for them on this car or if one set is just as good as another or what? so if anyone could give me their advice on that id appreciate it

no, were gonna do it right the first time. im not sanding rattle can bullshit off. just gonna make twice as much work. i can get us paint, dont worry about that.

So, I have the car sanded down and taped up...ready for primer tomorrow...we also removed the HUGE dent in the front driver side fender.

everything is coming together nicely so far. we'll see how it goes tomorrow.

The sun was going down and i grabbed my camera and snapped some pictures really fast before it got dark, but in that rush my dumbass forgot to put the card in the camera so it didnt save any of them. I'll get them posted up tomorrow though...
