Saw more Hondas that looked like other Hondas that looked like other Hondas.... got bored. Laughed at a few here and there. Best cars were the Time Attack cars and watching them haul ass. Yes, there were a TON of Hondas. But, there were some nice cars as well (and a few nice Hondas). I saw a few really, really nice cars and I really enjoyed the Redline Time Attack cars.

Being all offended that someone said there were a lot of Hondas is no way to encourage more attendance from other makes next year. I hope that next year, a lot of other types of cars make the effort and give the Hondas a run for their money. I also wish there was a little more shade. The sun and heat on Saturday was brutal and really draining after a while. I'd like to feel more like hanging out and chit chatting with people about their cars but it's hard when you can feel yourself getting more and more sunburnt by the second... lol.

The one thing that did bother me was the lack of sense of some attendees. You really think it's okay to park behind the paddocks for the race cars? Really? I think IA staff should have been on the lookout for this and put a stop to it. You do not park in front of the stall belonging to a car that needs to go in and out of there to to go the track. That's just ignorant. We watched one of the teams do some seriously tight maneuvers to back their truck up to their stall because their were cars behind it. Those guys had far more patience than I would have in that situation.

I think the event over all was pretty well run. No complaints about staff or organization. I hope that it will be in a larger venue next year, maybe with more shade.

I disagree, take the quality of cars at Nopi in 05-07 and compare it with this year's IA cars, you will see most of these cars are all gears toward performance vs looks... And the ones that don't look soo great on the outside, has a bad-ass k swap under it and sleeper status... And yall got to admit, the ricer factor was way down...... I barely saw any in poor taste....

And the cars that look like crap to yall this year, maybe just next year's feature material.. So don't count them out... :)

PERSONALLY... i liked the show... really enjoyed the fact that there was a variety of cars there... of course.. it appears that every "honda" looked the same but have you ACTUALLY tried to build one of them?? the swag that people are taking the cars to is insane to me... no longer riding knock-off wheels... volks, rays, work, and etc. were being rolled on... rhd cars were in plenty.. expensive suspension setups.. RARE interior parts... insane motor swaps and turbos... THIS WAS A GREAT SHOW..

hell... i have an old skool bmw and i had more honda people give me props than euros.. maybe.. JUST MAYBE.. if instead of over-looking the cars so quickly.. if you actually talked to some of the people there.. you would realize that every car has its own story.. its own goal.. and THATS what makes events like this so great..

We went up to the next exit and waited for a min, then went over to the roads around the speedway...which were also WIDE open..not a car in sight. After flying around there we came over to the hotel, chilled for a few and drove back around Nashville for a bit.

It was a great meet. I love the fact that they called it a car meet instead of car show. I saw a lot of quality cars that had great NA,Turbo,and supercharger setups. I have to say the K20 swap was most popular, but i loved seeing the few cars that had v6's in them. I believe with it just a car meet there were plenty of cars that had unique setups and paint jobs. To me car shows just consist of flashy cars meant to catch the eye.

EGOS are what kills the car scene... friendly competition is one thing but how can you really tell someone that their car isnt as nice as yours because they didnt choose the path you did... lol.. aren't we all supposed to be against the V8's anyway?
