hey guys,
found a bug i really wanna get but wanna look at some parts. anyone know of any good sites that i could find some bumpers, roof racks, and such for a older beetle? all help appreciated... :)

update: hey all i talked to the guy and he said that the motor hadnt run in a year but ran fine when it did. so yeah and the floor pans are rusted. is it worth to get it anyway and fix this? keeping in mind that i need to fix this as a daily and use it for awhile. and a tight budget, so is it worth it to fix it or should i spend more on a diffrent beetle.

Well i mean i want to do alot to the bug if/when i get it. thats definately a consideration. Would i have to go to fuel injection? I`m not that smart with this but this is why i want a older car is to learn and get experience. :) Really wanna do the outside stuff to it tho too so im gonna try and do minimal work to the motor. As long as it runs good ill be happy. I just wanna make sure this thing doesnt catch fire like the one thats been floating around on the car pics section.

if you plan on slamming it out make sure it doesnt have the super beetle suspension cause they are almost impossible to work with! but they are fun to build

You seriously had problems finding parts for a bug?

They're everywhere!

Good thing is, building the motor is hella cheap. Stroke/bore it out, and have some fun.
