MY NEW BIKE.....SIGH

I traded my 07 red zx6r for the new 08-09 silver/black cbr 1000rr (tried to get a red one but could not) and I love everything about it. I honestly about got a better deal financing the new bike vs the old bike. I waited for about a year in a half to upgrade to a 1000cc so I am really excited.

MODS in the future will be: Fender eliminator of course, looking at 3 exhaust the D&D/Jardine/& Leo Vince can't decide, last is the Gear indicator, so much torque I try to find 7th gear....

Trust me guys I was like couldn't deal with the rims being 3 spokes lol. The bike is still growing on me too because at first I loved my zx6r the way it looked and everything but again the cbr is growing on me still. The rims are like 16541132416 times easier to clean. As far as the ride and comfort 100% x better. The bike I feel is easier to ride, the positioning and the stance is just better lol

The bike is stupidly fast too compared to my other bike (zx6r) vs my friends 04 cbr 1000 with exhaust and commander would walk me like pull 16123 cars ahead like literally lol and now I am faster its F***ing great. Bike has 294 miles and I broke her in nice and good. Except for the nice ONE time run with my friends 04 cbr.

I love my bike.

My friend has one and that bike is FAST!!! I love the new 1000RRs in the power and handling department. The looks have grown on me but still not in love w/ them. But Honda has definitely stepped up in the power department.

Although somewhat more "conventionally" styled than the head-scratching DN, there is more than enough ugly sauce to adequately baste on this Fireblade. Why not just stick a shovel blade from the rear of the tank, pad it with a bit of vinyl and call it a seat for two? The fairing sets new standards for bugliness with its counterintuitive vertical orientation, and the huge black shrouding on the undercarriage that nearly swallows up the muffler is just horrific. This is the perfect bike to run over with a steamroller.

Nice, I was going to upgrade to a 08 zx10r but I was declined for the loan (Screw Kawa lol). I am glad though, because I love my CBR.

How much did you get it for?Same place I got my 07 gsxr from up in Tenn. has the 09 cbr for 7800$ Rocky mountain had theirs for I think around 11,000$ seems like its cheaper buying bikes in Tenn.Even my 07 was cheaper out of state than any place I found in Georgia.
