Well, since I hate the radio and most new music I wanted to see what kind of stuff people listen to that's not mainstream. Just post up some stuff you feel is under the radar for most people. I understand everyone has different tastes, but I thought this could be a cool idea to learn about some new music.
Some of my favorite stuff is Al Di Meola, Frank Gambale, Alan Holdsworth, and a little more popular, Frank Zappa. That stuff is mostly Jazz/Fusion.

Post up!

Reckless Kelly, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Wade Bowen, Stoney LaRue, Jason and the Scorchers, Hank III and Assjack, Shooter Jennings, etc. Most all of the punkabilly, alt/Texas/Oklahoma country.

Humphries, you going to the RX Bandits show sat night? Or the Reel Big Fish show fri night? Nice to see another RXB fan, if you search on here I've been preaching RXB for years, one of my favorite bands for the last 10yrs. I've gotta admit that as a horn player, I'm very upset that they have no more trombone or sax in the band, the horns are what set them aside from every other prog-rock-funk-fusion band.
Brant Bjork makes some pretty chill rock and roll that I've been listening to recently. He was the counterpart to Josh Homme in the venerable stonermetal band Kyuss.
Black Lips, Deerhunter, and Orange Sunshine have been some other bands I've been rocking recently. They're all pretty psychadelic rock but Lips are more punk, DH more shoegaze, and OS more blues.
