that's not a roof rack.... It's a HOOD rack... you place your hood on it, then you strap it down. If it starts to rain. you can unstrap the hood and place over the engine bay.:goodjob:

I don't know his reason. But I personally like the way the stock intake looks. And when I was running that same stock intake on my LS, I never felt a difference in the aftermarket to that one.

I'm just voicing my opinion that roof-racks without a truly valid point are rice and ruin a car just like a set of altezzas. I can understand trying to be different, but doing what everyone else is doing on H-T isn't that way to be different. Its the way to be a tool. So pretty much you fail. Way to try though.

I know plenty well what the poles were for (insert stripper joke). I've spent plenty of time at car shows. I was showing other solutions to the OP's hood storage issue (which is why he stated he used the roof rack which he dubbed a "hood rack", look back) that didn't break the lines of an otherwise clean looking car. I'd actually think it'd be kind of neat to see of Honda with the poles and I've though about it for my own car, but decided that keeping a soft blanket in the trunk to place on the roof when I pull the hood would work better for me. I've voiced my opinions of roof-racks (and many other things) plenty whenever I'm on these boards and in person at the meets. If you can get some brass plates behind the small holes, you can normally fill them in with a weld puddle that won't stick to the brass. Something I picked up from my dad and seen a few people do on build threads. Again, no hard feelings. Car forums are for sharing knowledge and voicing opinions. WL is for the rest, lol.
