Just finished watching it. Great beginning and middle, ending was a complete fuck-up. Had a great plot going, then to throw what it did into the end, was just stupid! I mean to make a great plot, then at the very end to throw a plot in that could begin another movie, but yet still begin and end the plot in less than 15 minutes was stupid!

So beginning to middle 8/10 (some of the cgi was not very well done!), ending 1/10!

it takes alot for me to say that..i usually am easy to please with a movie, and cna follow a story and try to see what the director is doing...BUT

I didn't think it was awful, but certainly wasn't the best movie ever. I'm curious, everyone is saying the ending was horrible, but how would you have ended it? With a movie of such epic scale, it pretty much has to end in ridiculousness.

not really! because the ending was a whole new plot line! ending it to end it is one thing, but to use an ending that is also a new plot line was kinda stupid! to me it just should have been the end FOR EVERYONE! that would have made for a better ending!

I liked it for the most part. the end kinda weirded me out i was like "oh its another one of those movies"
but my wife cleared it up by referring to Revalations.
but the guys at the end still threw me for a loop. it could have been an all around good film if they didnt have the guys in the big grey suits at the end.

someone will ascend from the sky and will select certain people in the world to stay 'here' and be saved from destruction. these are the last days man, signs are everywhere especially in the news. gotta pay attention

Everyone always thinks we're in the "last days of man". :rolleyes: What makes it the last days? Hunger? Starvation? Disease? War? Or is it gas prices? The first 4 have been going on since the beginning of time. Hasn't changed.
