This set up was done for a 200sx that was having ignition problems at high (24+) boost. Running an AEM EMS, so this set up was fairly straight forward. I really like the way this turned out. Ultra clean and low profile. We also fabricated a 4" aluminum exhaust. No BS straight through no muffler. We made a 3" to 4" steel section and then band strapped the aluminum section. Almost exactly like our drift car.

Nice setup with the coil on plugs but that exhaust looks exactly like my house's dryer ducting, and is as ugly as it too. I doubt that would even gain power over a constant 3'' all the way back.

good stuff, guys, i never knew the ls1 coils were so versatile, this makes the 3rd 4cylinder i've seen using them, i wanna say ccr uses them on their road course turbo miata as well, but i could be wrong

i don't know about over a equivalent 3", but over stock jjmastertech picked up 2psi of boost just by putting on the aluminum exhaust, which is expected over a stock exhaust i guess, but thats not what he was going for, he lost 30-35lbs off the car at the same time, his 2.5" setup from downpipe back weighs 3.5lbs....you can pick up the entire exhaust with one finger

It made more power. It has less backpressure. It does look like dryer ducting though.

The car makes 504whp and 394wtq. Dont think we are losing much there. The turbo set up is capable of over 600. Long term goal is more than that. 4" is going to be needed. Tight 90 degree bends are not the optimal flow that you want so opening up the diameter counters that as well.

There are a few of us Miatae folk using LS coils. Though my car came with a factory semi-COP setup, i'll eventually go with the LS coils myself.

(engine is a 2.0L stroker and is capable of using every bit of the GT3076 that's attached to it)
