So after two sets of flanges and clamps, I think I got it right. :rolleyes: I Bought the 2.5" 4-Bolt to 3" V-band adapter from HimNi Racing, and strapped it to my 16g.

I bought a OBX 3" inch Civic V-Band downpipe, but the two flanges didnt match up... :screwy:

I tried to tighten the clamp down as tight as possible, but the seal wasn't a seal at all. :no: So, I hoped on the internet (budget EBAY build FTW), bought a whole new set off flanges and a clamp.

When the flange came in, I test fitted it, and it was perfect! :boobies: The next day I called the exhaust shop and got the new flange welded on the downpipe.

I torqued down the turbo and wastgeate, and fastened the downpipe...

Everything seals flushly ans snugly, and it's a beauty to look at. :cheers:

Thanks. I'm pullin my blown D15B7 out, and hopefully i'll have the fresh new D16Y7 in within the next few days. After that, my main concern is going to be tuning.

Damn, pesky vband flanges and clamps. I love em and hate em.

What are you going to tune with? I can crome it up for you if you are not doing it yourself.

if you gonna go crome atleast get crome gold......had both and i hate the regular crome....sucks the big one and it is kinda old school....or you can step it up with hondata

Until I get the car finished, I'll just be running a Chrome basemap from Scotty, but I have FULL INTENTIONS of getting the car dyno tuned.
